Romanze – Solo Piano

Concert Piano Solo

Many great artists and composers are really good thieves.  I ‘borrowed’ the simple opening 3-bar theme from my brother-in-law who is a fine pianist and wrote a waltz in E Major.  Undoubtedly you will hear the influence of Chopin in this piece with a little dash of Spanish flair.  My intent in writing this piece was to write something that sounded as if it had been written 175 years ago—forcing me out of my comfort zone as a composer.

Difficulty: Medium-Difficult
